CODY CARNES RECEIVED EIGHT GMA DOVE AWARD NOMINATIONS INCLUDING TWO SONG OF THE YEAR NODS
NASHVILLE, TENN. (JULY 25, 2024) Singer/songwriter and worship leader Cody Carnes received eight GMA Dove Award nominations, which were announced yesterday exclusively on SiriusXM’s The Message. In these nominations, Carnes received two “Song of the Year” nods as well as “Songwriter of the Year – Artist.”
Carnes was also nominated for his widely acclaimed album Firm Foundation (Live) for “Worship Album of the Year” and “Long Form Video of the Year.” The title track, which was also nominated for a GRAMMY Award this past year received the coveted “Song of the Year” nomination as well as “Worship Recorded Song of the Year.” The nominated song took the worship genre by storm as it impacted listeners on a massive global scale with more than 100M global streams to date, became a No. 1 song on Christian radio, and is currently No. 4 on the latest CCLI chart.
The Awards will be held October 1, 2024, at the Allen Arena in Nashville, TN, and will air exclusively on TBN and TBN+ Friday, and simulcast on SiriusXM The Message, October 4, 2024, at 8 pm and 10 pm ET.
